Under Articles 84–85, your full end-of-service award is calculated the same way regardless of how you leave — half a month\u2019s wage per year for the first five years, then a full month per year after. The difference is a resignation reduction applied to that total based on how long you have worked.
If you resign with under two years of service you receive nothing; between two and five years you keep one-third; between five and ten years you keep two-thirds; and once you reach ten years you receive the full award — the same as if you had been terminated. Being terminated by your employer always pays the full amount.
